Cliff Adams is a pop pianist and
singer, an entertainer, and a teacher in the Cincinnati/Northern
Kentucky area.
Cliff was the featured entertainer at Jeff Ruby's Waterfront Restaurant Piano Bar from 1993 - 2000. His repertoire includes hundreds of classic pop songs and Great American Songbook standards.
He entertained as a solo artist nightly at Flanagan's Landing on Pete Rose Way in Cincinnati from 1981 - 1991. In 1982 he released "Endlessly", written with Cincinnati Bengals football star, Pat McInally.
Northern Kentuckians might remember Cliff as a member of the Dingos, a popular local quartet in the late 1960s. They recorded "You Don't Want Me" on the Counterpart label in 1967. The Dingos were inducted into the Northern Kentucky Music Hall of Fame in 2017. Today, Cliff entertains at restaurants in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Watch for appearances at Lisse Steakhaus, Juniper's, or McCollum's on York Street.Cliff earned a degree from the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati in 1973. Thirty years later he was recruited by his former professor, Dr. Simon Anderson, to teach History of Rock and Roll at C.C.M. - a position he held for 14 years until he retired in 2018. Cliff is a contributing author to Less Noise, More Soul: The Search For Balance in the Art, Technology, and Commerce of Music, (pub. Hal Leonard, 2013), which is on the shelves of various libraries, including the library at M.I.T. and the Library of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In addition to live performances, he writes, composes, creates internet content, and offers private music lessons on piano and guitar. One former student is in a touring rock band, and another is studying music production at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
